Join us for worship at Grace Washington Court House!

Some things about our worship gatherings never change. In keeping with our values, we seek to worship Jesus Christ with excellence, and we intentionally invite worshipers to begin or deepen their relationships to Christ and each other. We do all we can to make our worship gatherings relevant and meaningful to our community. The Bible is preached, the gospel is believed, Jesus is glorified, and our congregation is sent out to be gospel salt and light in the world. Still, there are some subtle differences, and each gathering has its own unique flavor.

About Our Worship Services

10am Combined Worship

Effective Sunday, October 13, 2019 Grace UMC has temporarily moved to a combined worship service at 10am so that we can all be a family together and experience God’s presence, healing, hope and joy as one Body. God is on the move in our midst!

9 am Small Groups

Our small groups hour (some folks like “Sunday School”) features experiences for children, youth and adults of all ages. Many of our groups share light refreshments, and each group learns and discusses the Scriptures at its own rate. Our pastors will occasionally teach a short-term, special-emphasis series during this time.

8 am
Summer Sunrise Chapel

Join us in the chapel for a distinctive, 40-minute service during the summer months, when many of us have responsibilities on our farms. This gathering uses Scripture readings from the lectionary, liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer, weekly Holy Communion and other elements to create an intimate, reflective worship experience. This seasonal service will run from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. Our most recent Chapel liturgy may be found HERE.
