Worship

Join us for worship at Grace Washington Court House!

Some things about our worship gatherings never change. In keeping with our values, we seek to worship Jesus Christ with excellence, and we intentionally invite worshipers to begin or deepen their relationships to Christ and each other. We do all we can to make our worship gatherings relevant and meaningful to our community. The Bible is preached, the gospel is believed, Jesus is glorified, and our congregation is sent out to be gospel salt and light in the world. Still, there are some subtle differences, and each gathering has its own unique flavor.

About Our Worship Services

We offer a blended worship service at 10am every Sunday. You can expect a variety of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, insightful visual media and Biblical, relevant preaching and teaching.

We are currently offering in-person worship with safety measures in place (read more) as well as an online service that can be viewed live at 10am on Sunday or at your convenience.

Small Groups

At Grace UMC, one of the ways we offer for your continued growth in your relationship with Jesus and others is by joining one of our Small Groups. We think being a part of a Small Group is a great way for you to develop your faith and come to know others in the church.

While our Small Groups are currently on hold during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is our hope to restart them this Fall.

Summer Sunrise Chapel

Seasonally

Join us in the chapel for a distinctive, 40-minute service during the summer months, when many of us have responsibilities on our farms. This gathering uses Scripture readings from the lectionary, liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer, weekly Holy Communion and other elements to create an intimate, reflective worship experience. This seasonal service will run from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. Our most recent Chapel liturgy may be found HERE.
